Linkedin Boomers is conceived of as a discussion and networking group to help Baby Boomers in that vital part of the US population between ages of 38-56 help each other find employment, build companies, and/or champion their causes.
It's estimated that Boomers currently comprise about 50% of the US population.* Certainly, this age group remains vital to the health of both the US economy as well as the strength of companies which need their skills, work experience, and good work habits. Oh, and those companies also need Boomers' energy, creativity, and audacity, too! (Some of us are still pretty hot! :-))
Thus, this group is for the young at heart mature person and the mature at mind young person. I think we can all get along! Besides, my age is NOT MY FAULT!(
